Cooking

I'm not the best cooker. In the matter of fact, I'm not a cooking lover yet I've discovered it helps to relax. Home alone, music outloud and cooking my favorite thing: Pasta! Yummy! It's simply perfect.

Es una gran cosa tu blogg. Me ha encantado leer tu punto de vista sobre como nuestra percepcion es limitada y nos enfrascamos en ver siempre los problemas y no una solucion.

Thanks Obama!

Yesterday and today were days like I've never had in a long time. Thanks to President Obama's visit to El Salvador, and due to the fact the school I work in is too close to our version of the White House, we had a 2 day vacation. Awesome!

So this is what I did yesterday:

• woke up late
• had breakfast at 10
• accompanied my mum to ISSS
• passy by Dollar City
• passed by the market for jocotes and mango
• cut our hair
• come back home for lunch
• watch tv
• download music
• pickup my cousin
• went to the supermarket
• had chinese food for dinner with dad

Great day uh?

Now! Today was even better because once again I woke up late, did most of the things in my To Do List and had blast of a time with my friends from RC the rest of the day. What else can I ask?

God blesses me with such much. This time His message was about forgiveness. It's hard, but why should we let hate and anger get into our lives? They don't do any good and repress our love. He have to learn to leave everything in His hands for He is going to do justice.

Final Note: Only a few weeks from Holy Week meaning its mission time!

Disappointed

Ther are soooo many things running around my head. Things as simple as "Woo hoo, I don't have to wake up early today!" to absurd things like "what am I having for lunch?" up to more complicated things like "what's wrong with the world?" and "why do I have to act like this all the time?" or "why can't this work like I want?"

And like any human being, I get dissapointed when things are far away from my reach. Things that I perfectly know they can only by done by God, yet I'm still stubborn trying to handle them by myself instead of trusting in His will. Its a vicious circle where it starts with a thought in mind, then a wish, prayer, I try to get my own results instead of wating, dissapointment and then comes another thought trying to replace the one before. It's ridiculous! But as I said before, I'm on my way to change; it's only that takes its time....

Recectly, God has sent me hints about patience, trust, pray more and confidence. He is talking to me! I really need to learn not only to listen but to act as I am asked to. Difficult uh? Well this is my answer: I'll do my best for You.

Final note: I'm also very dissapointed that Blogger hasn't yet found an easy way for bloggers to blogg from their BB. There should be an application just like twitter or facebook!!!!

USELESS!

Since a few time back, I've decide to change for good with the only thing in mind: to please God. It has been quite hard but I really think I'm moving towards my target. The thing is that as I'm changing, also my mind, my ideas, thoughts, likes, etc.; therefore that includes changing some habits and other things that surround me, including my blog.

Ever since I opened it, I really didn't like the name. I wanted someting more origional, more like my friend K's yet I didn;t want to copy her or do something too similar. I'm still not 100% convinved of this new name, but it's better. I like the idea that "Through my eyes" means: "this is how I see the world; this is MY point of view". Let's see how it goes.

Anyways, I wnated to change more things in here but for some reason, or my computer or the internet doesn't let me. Useless thing! Oh well, I'll have to try another day. For the moment, this is it. Hope this works out.
