Before kissing your Bride, update facebook status!

A Maryland groom wasted no time in telling his family and friends who couldn't attend his wedding that he was officially off the market. After exchanging vows he immediately updated his Facebook and Twitter status to married BEFORE kissing the Bride! Personally, I would hit him in the head when nobody would be watching =D

Progressing

Well, a week has passed and have done exactly what my Dr. told me to do: nothing! I rest all day, barley stand, sit or walk; I just lay there watching tv, eating my meals and getting extremely bored. But today, I progressed: now I have a Wii!!!!!

My dearest half sister, has kindly lend me her game for my entertainment, yey! My mother is quite worried that I get addicted, neeeee I'm only have in it for this week =( Anyways, by monday I hope to go back to my studies, so have lots of work to catch up, gona be busy!

For a moment, I really thought many of my dearest friends would come a visit me, but I was wrong. One or two have been asking constantly, and only another two came to see me. Me sad and disappointed. Oh well! that's how things are.

Manana es el GRAN dia....

Buenos Dias

Yo soy Dios.

Descansa Hijo.
Si necesitas contactarme estoy solo a una
oracion de distancia.

L-O-V-E

Love? A word that no matter in what language you say it or the translation you give it, it's a feeling. There have been billion of books written about this feeling; conferences, forums, blogs; people try to explain it. They try to give convince you that their idea, logic or theory is the correct one. But so far, in my personal point of view, love can be only understood until you feel it.

It's said that love can be felt in different ways, at different levels, etc, etc. So far, the greatest love you can experience is the one God can give you. It takes time or maybe more than time, it takes faith and consciousness to understand this love, yet it's always there, waiting for us to accept it, feel it and live it.

The thing is, that even though I know about this Great Love, I have a problem which is to keep focus; I tend to get distracted easily, specially with the wrong love's. That stress me every time I make certain mistakes when I know I could have avoid yet I don't.

I've always admire my friend K; she's one of the few persons that I can testified that lives God's love everyday, at every time, anywhere. K, throughout her action and words, reminds me that I must not give up my faith; that I can only be a better and stronger person keeping myself besides God and his word. Thanks you K for that! I leave you with one of my favorite verses:

1 Corinthians 13:13

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

Sad & Creepy

I think it would be correctly to say that most of the people (at least the normal ones) prefer to have a few more days of vacation rather than going to work or study. Well, I'm not between those; I have a whole week more of vacation AND even thou I should start classes on monday, I'm still not going for at least 2 more weeks due to health care. I really want to start my old routines: going to class, seeing my other friends, going at my weekly meeting in RC, etc, etc... creepy uh?

But instead, I'm stock here at home, with nothing else to do but watch a few tv series and soap operas (not even good ones 'cause I don't have cable tv), besides being in facebook and checking my e-mail. Isn't this sad??? I know I could do other small things around the house (specially in my messy room), but I suffer of certain laziness that I can only work on those type of activities when I wake up with a motivation. For the moment, there hasn't been a day like that.

last minute mail!

It is well known the idea that now a days, if you want to survive this world, you must keep up with technology, even grandmas! Therefore, MY grandma is no exception; last year she was given a new laptop but so far she manages only her e-mail and only fwds and chain emails sent my other friends of her same age. The thing is this is one those that you don't know if its true but it's quite funny:

This is a true story from the Japanese Embassy in the US!

A few days ago, Prime Minister Mori was given some Basic English conversation training before visiting Washington and meeting President Barack Obama...

The instructor told Prime Minister Mori, " When you shake hand with President Obama, please say 'How r u'.
Then Mr. Obama will normally answer, 'I am fine, and you?' Then you should say 'Me too'. Afterwards we, translators, will do the rest of the work for you.'

It looked quite simple , but what happened...

When Mori met Obama , he mistakenly said ' Who r u?' (instead of 'How r u?'.)

Mr. Obama was a bit shocked but still managed to react with humor:
'Well, I'm Michelle's husband, ha-ha...'

And Mori replied 'Me too, ha-ha.. .'.

Then there was a long silence in the meeting room.

Good thing Obama has a sense of humor.

Warning: if your an english instructor, make sure your Japanese pupil has repeated the lessons several times before actually talking to the president of the US.

New Year, New Beginnings

Every time a new year starts, almost everyone thinks to itself, others share it, what are they going to do, change or stop doing; they're commonly known as new year resolutions. As for me, these are the most important ones I intend to realize (really really):

  • Quit scouts to dedicate more time to JC
  • Do my Confirmation
  • Learn to drive
  • Have zero 7s or 8s, just 9 and 10!
  • start a new blog and actually write in it
  • mmm.... and think more about my actions before acting; that way, I avoid making many mistakes
Well those are it. Hope to give them all a check by the end of the next year.
