WE'RE GOING TO MISIONS!

First I only had the option of staying at home waiting for news about the retreat, then a second choice appeared, I could go misioning with Family Misioners; but by the end of this day, God gave me a third choice: Young Misioners are going!

We're all going to the same place due to security and only girls from universities and profecionals (besides the families). But that doesn't matter because what really matters it to live, and share the real meaning of Holy week: the Passion and Death of Jesuschrist! He does it for love!

I knew nothing would stop us from spreading our Lord's word! NOTHING!

no more days, no more misions

There are no more days to countdown, but there are no more misions either.

Last minute yesterday, after having our meeting, telling us the schedule, after paying, filling out the inscription sheet, etc.; one of consecrated entered the room to announces misions have been cancelled due to security and that is the best thing for moment. There were sad faces, surprised and even in shock, but many unbelieved the news, yet it was true.

First year after 5 without going but things don't happen without His approvement, and if this is His will, we have to accept. We're having a retreat instead, it will be great and full of grace!

So be.

Can't hardly wait for Saturday. I don't remember being so exited for Holly week in previous years as I'm this year! Although we're going less girls, one whole town, many friends are not going and my sister probably can't go, I'm still very very happy. And that happiness it's just 3 more days away from growing more and more!!!!

This a very popular Christian singer who is about to give a concert here in El Salvador and I hope to assist. He has many lovely songs, put this one songs which I most love as well as "Aqui estoy" but the diference with this one is it's meaning.

How many times do we say "Lord, you are my everything!" but we actually work for that to happen? To accept Christ with all you heart and live for him is a very hard mission; yet is that not that the whole point? Matthew 16:24 "Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

So to wish He is your whole universe is to want to accept His will at every time; Not only in mass or only one day; not only on the morninings or at night; not only at difficulties or when having doubts. Everytime is to accept Him as your guide, your light, your eyes, words, mind, EVERYTHING during all the seconds of my life.

If He is my universe, I must know that everything I do, make, speak, act, etc., will be under His law. Know I now that is what I want. The lyrics of this song have become my desire too.

King of Spain tells Chavez to 'shut up'

The king of Spain told Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to "shut up" during a heated exchange at a summit of leaders from Latin America, Spain and Portugal.

Chavez, who called President Bush the "devil" on the floor of the United Nations last year, triggered the exchange by repeatedly referring to former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar as a "fascist."

Aznar, a conservative who was an ally of Bush as prime minister, "is a fascist," Chavez said in a speech at the Ibero-American summit in Santiago, Chile. "Fascists are not human. A snake is more human."

Spain's current socialist prime minister, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, responded during his own allotted time by urging Chavez to be more diplomatic in his words and respect other leaders despite political differences.

"Former President Aznar was democratically elected by the Spanish people and was a legitimate representative of the Spanish people," he said, eliciting applause from the gathered heads of state.

Chavez repeatedly tried to interrupt, but his microphone was off.
Spanish King Juan Carlos, seated next to Zapatero, angrily turned to Chavez and said, "Why don't you shut up?"

The Venezuelan leader did not immediately respond, but later used time ceded to him by his close ally Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega to answer Zapatero's speech.

"I do not offend by telling the truth," he said. "The Venezuelan government reserves the right to respond to any aggression, anywhere, in any space and in any manner."

Rain and Cicadas

Last night, E.S. had its first rain of the season. This one of the signs that we're on Easter time or more like ; then comes the crying of the chicharras (cigarras or cicadas) who are of great significance to what comes next: Holy week!

The cicadas have lots of myths, mostly and in many countries, they're related with Christianity:

• Their cycle of life is coordinated with Holy week
• They come out around March through April, sometimes until May
• Their singing is refered as songs of love or sorrow
• They have 3 ocellies which many think that they're the three nails embedded to Jesus Christ.
• For many people, the cicada reminds them they must live the Lent

For me, they tell me it's almost time for our MEGAMISSIONS!

I hate to take the wrong desicion when I'm half sleep! I had the perfect chance today of having a nice breakfast with all my family including my grandpa who I don't see often, BUT my mind at 8:30 was still too dumb to see that great opportunity and prefered to stay in bed. HATE IT! =(

You live, you learn...

They were both sad of what had just happend, but he had more doubts than her. And as she was walking away he asked "why now?" and her only answer was "You live, you learn". - Based on a true story.

What I'm talking about? About love. Yesterday I was invited to a certain type of meeting in which it's not of an especific religion but their main objective is to pray to the Lord and share their experiences of how He has transform their lives. On our way to the meeting, one of the guys who had invited me started to talk about how his love life had been before knowing Christ and how he changed everything he did after months of praying; it was a change of 180 degrees.

One of the things he shared with us was something that a friend of his once told him: EVERY EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE, YOU MUST SEE IT AS POSITIVE, why? because that is how we learn and that's when he told me about story of couple, the one with I started today: "You live, you learn".

After thought, I asked him about what if I was sick of dating and prefered to wait for the one with I'm supposed to be with the rest of my life. His answer was simple: the Lord will send you who ever He consideres is correct either for learning or for being your parterner de rest of your life: I must live to learn.

Then, another friend add his advise with the same words he had been advised; "Don't look for love, you must wait for it. And when your face to face, one in front of the other, you will reconized each other".

So that is it, that is what I'm gonna do, wait and accept what He decides what is best for me.
