It's incredible how this February is almost gone. On the first week, I was so desperate to get out of my house that I asked God for work, and He gave it to me. I've been working now as subtitute teacher for two weeks during the morning and studying in the afternoons and some days I go to my praying meetings. I end up exhausted by 8pm. Yet I don't regret anything.
I really think I’m blessed with the work I do; I love children and until you work with them, you realized all the different problems they have and how much they need you. Last week, when I was helping a 7 year old boy in first grade, I saw him to the eye and catch him a glance of kindness, so deep and pure. I stopped to look around the class and it was then that I realized that no matter if I fight through the week with screamy boys, chattering girls, mean co-workers, etc, I’m 100% sure that this is what I like, that I’m in the correct place.
It’s been a very busy week, and the one coming will be worst; it’ll be 1st period exams and it’s a lot what I have to read and study. For the mean while I’m concentrating in this Lent, getting prepared for the most important week in the year.
